The blender gets a 2 out of 5 stars, but the one customer (to date) that reviewed this blender found that they didn’t like the plastic container and wished they’d had a glass container. A few of the reviewers of the Oster blender at Amazon agree that the blender does a good job chopping up ice and making smoothies. With a few of the customers complaining that the metal drive isn’t metal… but rubber? Not sure, but the customer wasn’t too impressed.
